Base Oils

HyGold 60 – NAPHTHENIC PROCESS OIL

This is a low viscosity (9 cSt @ 40°C) severely hydrotreated naphthenic base oil with low polyaromatic content, high solvent power, and excellent low temperature properties.

It is used in a wide range of metalworking fluids such as cutting, rolling or stamping, both in emulsions and neat oils thanks to its ability to carry high additive loads.

It can also be used in flushing and cleaning fluids for engines, gear boxes and industrial systems, as well as in heat exchangers, refrigeration fluids and hydraulic oils.

It has low odor and excellent color and is classified as an API Group V base oil.

HyGold 100 – NAPHTHENIC PROCESS OIL

This grade is a mid-viscosity (22 cSt @ 40°C)  hydrotreated naphthenic oil with excellent solvent power and very good low temperature properties.

It can be used in the formulation of metalworking fluids for a large variety of operations, such as cutting, rolling or stamping. This base oil can also be used in the production of low temperature lubricating greases, in automatic transmission fluids, and slideway oils.

With its excellent solvent power while keeping low levels of polyaromatic compounds, it can dissolve high additive loads as well as cleaning and keeping residues and sludge dissolved while in operation.

 It is also the reason to the outstanding stability of emulsions formulated with this product. This base oil is also characterized by very good metal affinity, delivering cooling performance and excellent low temperature properties.

It has low odor and excellent color and is classified as an API Group V base oil.

HyGold L600 – NAPHTHENIC PROCESS OIL

This is a versatile mid to high viscosity (115 cSt @ 40°C) hydrotreated naphthenic oil with excellent solvent power and very good low temperature properties.

This viscosity grade can be used both in the cooking and cooling stages of grease manufacturing while delivering lower soap consumption and resulting greases with excellent pumpability, and resistance to dilution.

It can also be used in a multitude of industrial lubricants, metal working fluids as well as in treating fluid, protective film and cylinder oil.

It has low odor and excellent color and is classified as an API Group V base oil.

HyGold L2000 – NAPHTHENIC PROCESS OIL

This high viscosity hydrotreated naphthenic oil with a viscosity approaching 400 cSt @ 40°C has high solvent power and still very good low temperature properties (for such high viscosity), especially when compared to paraffinic base oils.

This product is an excellent base oil for the manufacturing of greases, still providing very good pumpability required by centralized grease lubrication systems in warmer climates such as Australia, delivering excellent resistance to water washout, and savings on energy and soap consumption.

It is also a very versatile viscosity grade to use in industrial gear oils with higher ISO VG grades, while it can also be used in the formulating of many metal forming fluids in applications such as stamping, extruding, drawing, forging, rolling and swaging.

It can also be used in worm gears and cylinder oils, has low odor, excellent color and is classified as an API Group V base oil.
