Tyre and Rubber Oils

HyPrene 60 – NAPHTHENIC PROCESS OIL

This is a low viscosity (9cst @ 40°C) severely hydrotreated naphthenic process oil with low polyaromatic content, high solvent power and compatibility with polar compounds, and excellent low temperature properties. It has an ultra low PAH content and is REACH compliant.

It can be used in compounds such as SBR, NR and BR, provided that the maximum processing temperature is not higher than about 150°C.

It is not recommended for EPDM, TPE nor as dust stop oil

HyPrene 100 – NAPHTHENIC PROCESS OIL

This is a mid viscosity (22 cst @ 40°C)  severely hydrotreated naphthenic base oil with low polyaromatic content, high solvent power and compatibility with polar compounds, and excellent low temperature properties. It has an ultra low PAH content and is REACH compliant.

It can be used in compounds such as SBR, NR, BR, CR, IIR and XIIR, provided that the maximum processing temperature is not higher than about 180°C.

It is not recommended for EPDM, TPE nor as dust stop oil

HyPrene L600 – NAPHTHENIC PROCESS OIL

This is a versatile  mid-viscosity (115 cSt @ 40°C) severely hydrotreated naphthenic base oil with low polyaromatic content, high solvent power and compatibility with polar compounds, and excellent low temperature properties. It has an ultra low PAH content and is REACH compliant.

It can be used in compounds such as SBR, NR, BR, CR, IIR and XIIR and has an open-cup flash point of over 220° for high operating production temperatures.

It is not recommended for EPDM, TPE but can be used as dust stop oil and as internal mixer lubricants.

HyPrene L2000 – NAPHTHENIC PROCESS OIL

This is a versatile  mid-viscosity (~400 cSt @ 40°C) severely hydrotreated naphthenic base oil with low polyaromatic content, high solvent power and compatibility with polar compounds, and very good low temperature properties. It has an ultra low PAH content and is REACH compliant.

It can be used in compounds such as SBR, NR, BR, CR and IIR as well as in sulfur-cured EPDM and has an open-cup flash point of over 250° for high operating production temperatures.

It is not recommended for EPDM, TPE but can be used as dust stop oil and as internal mixer lubricants.

BLACK NAPHTHENIC PROCESS OIL – Replacing Aromatic extracts

This specially formulated black naphthenic base oil brings unique advantages from a hydrotreated naphthenic oil and a petroleum fraction blend such as high viscosity, a pour point well below 0°C and excellent solvent power.

With ultra low Poly Aromatic Hydrocarbon (PAH) content, it is REACH compliant and the ideal replacement for aromatic oils.

It delivers high performance for tyres and many technical rubber formulations.

It can be used in compounds such as SBR, NR, BR, CR, IIR and XIIR and is suitable for dust stop oil and as internal mixer lubricants.
